Digital Download FAQ's
BasharTV App & Digital Download Transition – FAQs
We’re phasing out our old digital download system to provide a smoother, more user-friendly experience through the BasharTV mobile and smart TV apps. Instead of downloading files to your device, you can now watch your videos directly in the app—and even save them for offline viewing within the app itself.
No more expired links or lost files!
How do I access my videos?
Just log into the BasharTV app using the same email you used to make your purchase. You’ll find all available videos under your Library. From there, you can:
-
Stream videos anytime on your phone, tablet, or smart TV
-
Save (“download”) videos within the app to watch offline
-
Watch on your TV using Apple TV, Android TV, Roku, or Amazon Fire
What if I purchased a download in the past and lost the file?
If you purchased the download within the past 12 months, we’ll add the video to your BasharTV library free of charge.
If your purchase was made more than a year ago, we can still re-add the video for a $5 fee per item.
Please email us at support@bashar.org with the name and email address used for your order, and we’ll take care of you.
I’m having trouble accessing or playing my videos in the app.
We’ve got you! Reach out to support@bashar.org, and our team will help get everything sorted.
Why are you making this change?
With an international community, like ours, we've learned that there are many technological barriers to getting the old MP4 and MP3 files saved to a mobile device for viewing. There are a great number of people who purchase a download at a library or internet cafe, then have to transfer the files to their phones only to learn that they are too large to fit.
This new system, allows everyone to purchase the videos on any device with a web browser and internet access. Then, they can download the files to their mobile app and watch when they no longer have internet access.
We know that this is a big change, but we believe it's the right one. This will alleviate some of the barriers caused by limited access to technology, and help more people gain access with ease.
